The New & The Old: Barrel and Library Tasting Experience
This event is for 21+ only.After 50 years of winemaking, we recognize the importance of exploring where we’re headed, while reflecting on the beauty of what’s been. On Sunday, March 15th, join our winemakers Ray Mitcham and Melissa Aellen for an immersive two-part tasting experience. Start the afternoon sampling young wines right from the barrel, where each vintage’s story begins to take shape. Afterwards, journey through our carefully curated library of aged wines and discover how time patiently shapes, softens, and deepens every glass.

What started as a small dairy farm in 1976 has blossomed into a thriving three-generation vineyard and winery – shaped by passion, family, and a whole lot of great wine. In this multi-part storytelling series, second-generation Aellen brothers Anthony and Eric invite you to pull up a chair, raise a glass, and hear the stories that built Linganore Winecellars. This experience is for 21+ only. As we celebrate 50 years of family-run winemaking, we invite you to step behind the scenes with Free Tour Fridays! Starting this February, join us for a complimentary winery tour at 2PM or 4PM and discover the history & heart that goes into each bottle. Following your tour, join us in the Tasting Room to purchase a Signature Bar Tasting or a bottle of your favorite Linganore wine. Pre-reservation is encouraged as space is limited.
