Spirted History: Around the Family Table

August 6 @ 4:00 pm 6:00 pm

Join Preservation Maryland on Thursday, August 6, 2026, for another Spirited History event at Linganore Winecellars, where we will join Linganore’s Around the Family Table Series. During this event, you’ll hear from Christiana Limniatis, Preservation Maryland’s Program & Outreach Manager, about the illustrative history of alcohol production in Maryland, and also be joined by Anthony Aellen to hear about Linganore’s innovative approach to their craft spirits and get a sneak peek behind the scenes of production. With each ticket purchase, guests will receive a complimentary drink ticket and enjoy lite fare.

Whether beer, wine, or spirits, alcohol production has been a staple industry in Maryland since the colonial era. Preservation Maryland’s new initiative, Spirited History, aims to study the history of iconic and everyday alcohol manufacturers in the state’s past, connecting the rich history of the industry to today’s craft beverage production, and highlighting how Maryland remains a world-class producer today. Spirited History is sponsored in part by a grant from the Department of Commerce’s Maryland Alcohol Manufacturing Promotion Fund.

$20 Per person; includes a drink ticket and lite fare.
