Changes at Linganore Winecellars

Upgrades to our Storage to Keep Going Green:

You may have noticed that we built a new barn near the lake to house our harvester last fall. This was so we could create a bigger warehouse, which we finished remodeling this month. The new warehouse has foam insulation to better control the climate for housing wines without the need for additional heating or cooling. This helps us to continue reducing our carbon footprint and allows us to store more wine at stable temperatures.

Facility Remodels to Better Serve You:

If you visited the barrel room or took a peak through the glass while enjoying a Signature Tasting or Food Pairing  this winter, you may have noticed a hole in the barrel room wall. We are in the beginning stages of making this room amazing. Keep an eye out as we develop an intimate wine dinner/reception room that leads into the barrel room. This room is sure to be a favorite for small special occasions. Look for small events coming soon in our new room as well.

This is the view from the new room. We cut a hole in the old barn to provide access from the barrel room.

This is the view of the stairs where staff will enter the new room. We love the warm feel that the wood adds.
