TAKE THE TOUR DURING THE DOG DAYS OF SUMMER – Free As the long, hot days of summer take their toll, find some time to escape to the beautiful countryside. Linganore features 200+ acres of vineyards which translates to one outstanding cache of wine in our cool cellar. Take the tour, cool off, then head to the tasting room to sample of our award-winning wines. ($5.00 per person) . Daily in August (excluding Festival weekends - see above)

		IN THE HEAT OF THE SUMMER Enjoy FREE MUSIC on the patio! featuring Rob Thorworth Saturday, August 06, 2011 / 2pm.-5pm. Thorworth has had the privilege of touring and opening for blues greats Buddy Guy, Koko Taylor, Robert Cray, Jimmy Vaughn, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Although a student of the style, Thorworth never claimed to be a bluesman. In fact, his rootsy music crossed over enough to also land him shows with The Allman Brothers, Joan Osborne, and Widespread Panic. Carlos Santana gave him a "beautiful" thumbs up, and he's shared the stage with Warren Haynes and the late Alan Woody of Gov't Mule. Don't let those powerhouse names fool you. Appropriate and enjoyable for all ages.

		K9's IN THE VINE for the Animal Welfare League of Frederick County Sunday, August 21, 2011 / 1pm.-5pm. Animal Welfare League of Frederick County is proud to present K-9’s in the Vines at Linganore Winecellars-Berrywine Plantations, a wine tasting fundraiser in order to benefit animals in need. Enjoy a day of fine wines, live entertainment, silent auctions, door prizes, vendors, food and discounts on wine. Bring your furry friend along and participate in activities and contests, pet photos in the vineyard, and wading pools just for the pooches.
